Welcome to DHILab, the H/WB center’s laboratory dedicated to research and innovation, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions in the field of digital health. DHILab provides comprehensive support for research and development activities through our expertise in the analysis, design, and implementation of advanced software components.

What We Do 

Building Innovative AI-Based Software Components 

The laboratory specializes in building innovative platforms and software components that also integrate AI solutions, resulting from the research conducted at the Center. Our expertise ranges from the conception to the realization of cutting-edge solutions. The Unità team, consisting of technologists and developers, works to develop software that not only meets current needs but also anticipates future healthcare challenges. 

Building and Managing Infrastructure Integrating AI Modules 

In addition to creating software components and platforms, DHILab is dedicated to managing robust infrastructures for the deployment of these platforms in real clinical settings, and running POC solutions and prototype experiments in various projects involving the center units. We support the implementation of living labs to test and evaluate the results of AI and intervention research. 

We ensure that solutions are implemented in a stable and secure environment, guaranteeing optimal performance and reliability while complying with safety and privacy standards and regulations (GDPR). Our infrastructure is designed to support and scale with the growing needs of the healthcare sector, always prioritizing security and efficiency.
